Why Imperial Biolab

What every batch has to clear

Nothing is listed on the strength of a supplier’s word. A batch is tested by an independent laboratory, documented against its own number, and only then does it reach the catalog.

01

Your vial, your exact results

Scan the QR code on the label to open the testing for the batch that filled that vial, not a range of batches.

02

Results from an independent lab

Read the laboratory’s own signed report, not a summary written by us or one certificate reused across several batches.

03

Every detail in one place

Product, batch number, test date, laboratory, results and current batch status, without digging through documents.

04

A record that stays online

The COA stays live after the batch sells out, so the record is there whenever you need to check it again.

The small peaks on a chromatogram: synthesis-related impurities in peptides

Most research peptides are made by solid-phase peptide synthesis, which builds the chain one amino acid at a time on a resin bead. Any step that does not go to [...]

How peptides degrade: oxidation, deamidation and the chemistry behind storage rules

Peptides break down through a short list of known chemical routes: oxidation of methionine, cysteine and tryptophan, deamidation of asparagine and glutamine, cleavage of the peptide backbone, cyclization at the [...]

Net peptide content: why powder weight is not peptide weight

Net peptide content is the share of a lyophilized powder’s weight that is the peptide itself. The rest is mostly counterions held by charged residues, residual water and small amounts [...]

Cold chain in transit, and the first hour after a box arrives

A lyophilized peptide keeps best sealed, dry, dark and cold. Water and heat drive most of the chemistry that degrades a peptide, and freeze drying has already removed most of [...]

Reading a certificate of analysis line by line

A certificate of analysis answers four questions in a fixed order: which batch was tested, whether it is the right molecule, how much of the detected material is that molecule, [...]

What a 99% purity number on a peptide COA actually measures

A 99% purity figure on a peptide certificate is the main peak’s share of UV peak area in one chromatogram, recorded at one wavelength on one column under one gradient. [...]

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Ordering, testing and handling. Everything a qualified researcher asks before placing a first order.

What does research use only mean?

Everything here is supplied for in vitro laboratory research by qualified people only. It is not for human or veterinary use, is not a drug, supplement or food, and has not been evaluated by the FDA.

Qualified researchers aged 21 or over, or buyers acting for a research institution, laboratory or business. We may ask for organization details before releasing a first order.

Every batch is tested by an accredited third party lab using RP-HPLC with LC-MS identity confirmation, to a 99% or higher specification. Results are on that batch’s COA, matched to the batch number on your vial.

All 50 states from our US facility, with no customs or import duty. Orders placed before 2pm Eastern on a business day ship the same day, and tracked shipping is free over $200.
